General Questions

Who is Sharewow Singapore

Sharewow Singapore is a branch of a global leading 3D printed figurine group that creates high-quality, personalised 3D figurines using the latest 3D scanning technology

What are 3D figurines?

3D figurines are lifelike miniature, three-dimensional representations of a person or pet, captured through a quick 3D photoshoot process.

Where is Sharewow Singapore located?

We are conveniently located at Marina Square. Our full address is 6 Raffles Boulevard, #03-123 Marina Square, Singapore 039594.

Are you open daily? What are your operating hours?

Yes, we are open daily.

• Weekdays: 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM

• Weekends & Public Holidays: 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM

The last appointment slot each day is at 8:00 PM, subject to availability.

Can you create a 3D figurine from a photo, or must I come to your store?

To ensure the highest accuracy and detail, we require all customers, including pets to

be captured in person using our 3D photoshoot system at our Marina Square studio. We

do not create figurines from photographs, as 2D images cannot provide the necessary

depth and precision for a true-to-life 3D model.

How does the 3D photoshoot process work?

Our cameras use safe, structured light technology to capture your likeness in seconds.

The 3D images are then used to create a detailed 3D model for printing.

How long does the entire process take?

The 3D photoshoot takes just a few seconds. The creation and delivery of your figurine typically take 2 to 3 weeks. If more time is needed due to high order volumes, we will inform you before accepting your order.

What material are the figurines made of?

Our figurines are printed with high-quality photosensitive resin, ensuring durability and long-lasting detail.

How are your products different from bobblehead-type products?

Unlike bobbleheads, our figurines are highly detailed, realistic, and proportionate representations of the subjects, capturing fine details and accurate likenesse

Are there any age restrictions for getting a 3D photoshoot?

There are no age restrictions. We welcome customers of all ages, from infants to seniors.

Is the 3D photoshoot safe?

Absolutely! Our cameras use safe, low-powered light technology and emit no harmful radiation. The process is non-invasive and completely safe for all, including pregnant women.

How detailed can the figurines be?

Our figurines capture intricate details such as facial expressions, clothing textures, and tattoos.

How close will my 3D figurine resemble me?

At Sharewow, we aim to achieve a high likeness level of around 80 to 90%, which we proudly deliver using today’s leading 3D scanning and printing technology. While our results are impressively detailed, please note that we are not a museum-grade studio like Madame Tussauds, which uses different techniques and scale.

Several factors can influence the final appearance, including:

• Hair colour and style (e.g., dyed or blended tones may appear darker or more uniform)

• Skin tone variation under studio lighting

• Fine facial details such as mascara, eyeliner, stray hairs, or reflections

• Material and lighting limitations of 3D printing

Rest assured, we do our best to balance realism with artistic representation, and our team is trained to advise during the photoshoot for the best possible outcome.

Do I need an appointment for a 3D photoshoot session? Can I do walk-in?

Walk-in is possible although we encourage you to make prior appointment request. In the event you choose to walk-in, and we have a prior appointment to attend to, we will serve you after all appointments are cleared. If you prefer to walk-in, do refer to our 3D photoshoot rules available on our website before your arrival.

Figurine Options & Customization

What sizes are your figurines available in?

We offer a range of standard sizes from 9cm to 18cm. Mini sizes from 6cm to 8cm are now available for Individual category only. Custom sizes are also available upon request with a surcharge.

Do you provide clothing or costumes for the 3D photoshoot?

We do not provide clothing or costumes. Customers are encouraged to come dressed in the outfit they wish to be captured in for the 3D figurine. Feel free to express your personality — whether it's traditional wear, uniforms, sports attire, or fun costumes! Do refer to the 3D photoshoot rules available on our website for your preparation.

What outfits are recommended for the best figurine results?

Solid colours and simple patterns work best. Avoid overly shiny or reflective materials. We also recommend avoiding full dark-coloured outfits (e.g., black top with black bottom), as the details may blend together and not be clearly visible.

Additionally, please note that some darker shades like navy or dark maroon may appear even darker or black due to the limitations of 3D printing colour vibrancy. Most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable and confident in!

Is styling or make-up included in the service?

Styling and make-up are not included. However, group styling and make-up can be arranged via our external vendor upon request. Changing rooms and dressing tables are available for your convenience. For touch-ups, we provide simple one-time use styling tools such as combs, rubber hair bands, hair pins, and hair spray.

Like traditional studio photoshoots, bright lighting is used during the 3D photoshoot. We recommend light make-up for female customers, and for male customers, we encourage applying a touch of lip colour and eyebrow definition when possible to enhance the final result.

Will my dyed hair colour appear accurately on the 3D figurine?

If you have dyed hair, especially in shades that are subtle or similar to natural Asian hair tones, please note that the colour may not be fully visible in the final figurine. Due to the bright lighting used during the 3D photoshoot, lighter or toned highlights may be lost, and the hair may appear entirely black. The printed hair colour may not exactly match the real-life shade, especially for custom or multi-tone dyes.

Can you help to touch-up the figurine aesthetically?

Minor touch-ups can be done to enhance printability, but major alterations may not be possible. We strive to capture the best possible likeness during the scan.

Can I preview or approve the 3D model before printing?

We currently do not offer customer preview or approval of the digital 3D model before printing. Our trained staff will guide you through reviewing the captured images right after your photoshoot to ensure satisfaction before confirming your order.

Can we bring props, handbags, or plushies for the 3D photoshoot?

Yes, you are welcome to bring props, handbags, or plushies to personalize your figurine. Surcharges for props are available in our price list.

Additional Questions

How does the scanning process work? Is it Safe?

Our cameras use safe, structured light technology to capture your likeness in seconds. The 3D images are then used to create a detailed 3D model for printing.

No harmful radiation is emitted throughout the process.

What if kids or pets are fidgety during the scan?

Our staff is experienced and patient, and we allow multiple retakes to ensure we capture the best possible 3D images.

Is there a limit on the number of photoshoots/retakes?

We do not limit the number of retakes. Our priority is to ensure you are satisfied with the final scan. If needed, we will put your session on hold while attending to the next appointment and resume it later.

What happens if I'm not satisfied with the final figurine?

Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we strive to deliver the highest quality and accuracy in our 3D printed figurines.

Please note:
• While we aim for fine detail and likeness, achieving a 100% exact replica of any subject is technically infeasible due to the nature of 3D printing.
• Props and small intricate details may vary slightly in scale and texture due to the printing process.
• Customers are fully briefed on expectations during the 3D photoshoot session. By proceeding, customers acknowledge acceptance of these limitations.
• Dissatisfaction must be supported by clear, evidence-based feedback to be considered for review. Decisions regarding reprinting or adjustments will be made at the sole discretion of our management team.
